Measure honestly
Every bill traces back to a real meter reading, not an estimate. Accuracy is the product.
The hadeda announces itself loudly and misses nothing on the ground below. That's roughly our approach to utility data.
Hadeda Pay (Pty) Ltd was founded in 2018 in Tamboerskloof, Cape Town, in the middle of the city's Day Zero drought, when every kilolitre suddenly mattered and almost nobody could say where theirs went.
We started with a simple conviction: people who can see their water use less of it, and bills based on real measurement get paid without arguments. So we built the whole chain as one system: ultrasonic smart meters, radio networks, software, apps and payments.
Today Hadeda meters, measures and bills water for residential estates, high-rise buildings and commercial properties, and collaborates on research with the Water Research Commission, SANParks and the University of Stellenbosch.
Water was only the start. The same rails of meters, statements and in-app payment now carry electricity, gas, rent and everything else a tenant pays, on one bill.
Every bill traces back to a real meter reading, not an estimate. Accuracy is the product.
Software that shows people what they use makes them use less of it. Conservation is a feature, not a poster.
When paying is one tap on the 1st of the month, collection stops being a job. That's Hadeda Pay.
We're always happy to talk properties, meters and payments, from one unit to a whole estate.
